What is complete repentance?

Friday, December 4th, 2009

Your repentance is complete only if you truly repent with tears, resist [sin] even crying and gnashing your teeth, and live really keeping the law of God. You must comply with the law in order to bear the fruit of righteousness and of the Holy Spirit, and in order for Satan to be separated from you and unable to intervene in your lives.  Everyone, repent of every little sin, and sin no more!

If you value the Word of the Lord to a mediocre degree, you cannot put it into action. If you don’t properly observe God’s law, Satan, devils, and demons immediately know that. They torment you, inflict losses on you, and harm you in tens of thousands of ways. If you see the situation from the deep level of the spiritual world, you can see that Satan and demons act just as I described above.

Everyone, pray deeply and see what Satan is doing. See the spiritual reality. How can you not see Satan or the spiritual reality even though you have led a life of faith? You don’t see them because you don’t make efforts or pray deeply.

You can repent only if you admit your sins. If you confess to the Lord, “I am a sinner,” He is delighted and forgives you.

Sin is like a rotten creation …

A doctor, who completely digs out hidden diseases, operates on them, and cures them, is a great doctor and a rescuer of life.

The Lord said, “Sin is like a rotten creation.”  All of you might have seen and experienced the decay of creation. Fish, meat, food, fruit, wood, iron, clothes, land, and water, all of these things decay and rot.  A human being’s body also perishes.

You can see that anything that decomposes does so at a dreadful speed. “Change in quality” is decay. A person, whose quality changes, has rotting faith. When something rots, there is a stench. Where there is decay, flies swarm. Where a person’s faith is rotten, Satan and demons swarm.

People just live their lives without being aware of how dreadful decay is. If a person talks with someone whose faith is rotten, the latter’s decay is immediately spread to the former. In this way, sin causes putrefaction. When you sin, your mind starts rotting, and your action also is rotten because of sin.

Just as you can immediately discern the things that are rotting in the world, it is clearly noticeable when it comes to people, too. You’ve got to look closely. The Bible records, “The mind of human beings and the action of human beings are more rotten and corrupt than creation.” I have explained about ‘sin’ comparing it with decay.  Sin causes man’s spirit and body to go bad.  Repentance cuts out the rotten parts and brings the decay to an end.
